Maytag ,now Whirlpool, Whirlpool Installed on 4/3/10 and failed on 11/4/12. Major appliance should last longer than that. We bought this on the company reputation. Considering lawsuit. Cleveland, Tennessee
A waste of $900 USD. We bought the Maytag Bravos washer and it was installed on 4/3/2010. On 11/4/2012 the center post bearing gave out because the water seal failed and washed out the grease from the bearing. It is by reasonable expectation that a major appliance would last longer than 2yrs 7 months. The warranty of course doesn't cover this. We bought this based on the Maytag company reputation and now realizing it was bought out by Whirlpool - we would have never bought this poor quality product and would strongly recommend staying from any Maytag brand or Whirlpool appliances. We're currently seeking legal advice to pursue this matter.
