Purchased 2012 Mazda 3 new, hit coyote 3 months to the day car put in service.  The damage was minor, $3000.00.  Got car back from Hennessey Mazda, Morrow Georgia infested with fire ants and clearly not driving properly.  Notifed adjuster from insurance company and was told to take it back.  Took car back to state of Alabama because that is where I worked during the week.

Took car to local dealership.  They claim to have found broken motor mount but fixed under the new car warranty instead of filing it with the insurance company.  It was still not driving properly and the headlight on drivers side had a significant blind spot.  After 3 more attempts to find out what the problem was by Hiley Cars in Huntsville, AL, only to be given numerous excuses, going as far as to say they compared the headlight operation to another Mazda 3 and said it had the same blind spot,  the insurance company had to me take the car to one of their "preferred" body shops.  Let's just say that proved to be a waste of time.  They didn't even look at the car.

Less than a month , I took it back to Hiley Cars because my Mazda was driving like a dump truck. They decided to check the alignment because within the 6000 miles the tires had all been ruined and needed to be replaced.  The excuse for that was that no one ever did an alignment after the accident.  1 Alignment and 4 tires later, nothing about the drivability changed.

I took the car to a local car care center for the 5000 mile regular maintenance only to find my tires are already cupping after 5000.  I don't know if I just felt defeated or just want to deal with the nonsense from Mazda anymore, I just accepted to deal with the car I had.

Well, 3 months later, 15 months after the accident, 11 months after the tires were replaced, I was backing out of a parking space and something in reverse started grinding.  It still moved so I said screw it until it sounded like it was going to explode in reverse and starting leaking fluid all over my driveway.  I called next closest dealership to my home to see if they would dx the car.  Nelson Mazda, Franklin TN agreed to dx the car.  The car was towed 84 miles and I recieved a call that the motor / transmission mount was broken, the tires are all ruined again, and lets not forget the headlight.  That is nothing more than decoration on the front of the car at this point.  They said the car needed to go to a body shop and the insurance company stepped in because Mazda thinks they can say the broken motor mount and current state of the tires are from the accident 15 months ago.

Insurance company pays out another $2000.00 to have it put on a frame machine and have a suspension specialist inspect the car.  They say nothing is wrong.  Nelson Mazda offered to sell me the motor mount but said I would have to take the car elsewhere to have it installed.  They said they don't want to get involved. My car has been sitting at Nelson Mazda for 34 days and they refuse to fix anything and the shop manager keeps telling me that I need to take it to a body shop.  They just got the car back from the body shop they sent it too 3 blocks away from their dealership.  The insurance company doesn't think any of the problems the car is experiencing have anything to do with the accident but offered to pay for them anyways.  It was a nice gesture on their part but there is no sense fixing this car if I am going to continue to have problems.  Mazda is hiding something and I don't know if the shop manager telling me it needs to go to a body shop is his way of saying there is something major wrong and can't tell me because Mazda told him to keep his mouth shut.

I am going to have to have the car towed back to my home and figure out what to do next.  The car is not driveable with the broken motor / transmission mount and the headlight makes it unsafe.  The tires need to be replaced again.  I purchased a $2000.00 extended warranty through the dealership but none of the dealerships will honor it.  I was told by Mazda USA I would have to spend $1400.00 to have the car towed back to the original dealership that did the repairs over 300 miles away.  I don't think so.
