MCI - NCO Financial ripoff MCI refused to call NCO, NCO has my money, and I don't have phone service! Nationwide
MCI transfered my call to NCO Financial when I called to take care of an outstanding balance of $39.22. A NCO person, Mr Moore, informed me to clear the account he would need a check for 52.94. When I asked him what the additional $13.72 was for he simply said the state allows them to charge it. What state Pa or Ca? Mr. Moore had no answer.
Since I need my phone service I gave him a check over the phone. But, when I asked for a confirmation number to give to MCI, Mr Moore said their company didn't do confirmation numbers and I my account would be cleared in one to three weeks. So I got a phone number of a supervisor Mr. Travis to give to MCI to get my service restored. MCI refused to call NCO, NCO has my money, and I don't have phone service!
What a rip off to charge extra fees not associated with the collection. They're not only rude, but I believe those charges are fraudulent as well.
