MCI NEIGHBORHOOD ripoff of a trusting customer in Kentucky ATLANTA Georgia
I was using another phone company at the time I received a phone call from MCI Neighborhood. I thought it would be a great deal because I was already paying 55.99 for my basic service.
So I switched and every since I switched, I have NEVER received a bill for $55.99. All of my bills have been over $75.00 per month and this is with the plan that is supposed to include the long distance. I thought to myself maybe I should switch to the plan for $31.99 and just monitor my long distance calls when I make them.
I just received my first statement with the service downgrade and the bill is $90.00. I could not believe it. I checked my long distance calls and they only came to $18.76. Please tell me how the cheaper plan costs more than the higer plan. I was so furious, I called them and was put on hold for about 30 minutes. I am glad I saw all these ripoff reports because hopefully I can end my service with them before they take any more of my money.
