Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I just got a call not too long ago from an MCI telemarketer trying to have me switch over from SBC to MCI. We do have MCI as a long distance carrier, but we are all seriously thinking about switching even our long dist carrier somewhere else.

The telemarketer was rude, my mother answered the phone and didn't understand english very well, so she gave the phone to me. He spoke with me about the 39 dollars a month unlimited package if we switch over all our phone services to them. I said no, not interested, then he proceeded to ask me in a rude manner, "how old are you?!", and I answered 25.

He said something about not having to pay for long distance and local taxes "separately", of course you have to pay for it still, no getting around that, just a sham to trick me into thinking there will be no more taxes. We currently pay only 20-25 a month since we hardly ever use the house phone, I have my cell for business and all others.

He repeatedly kept asking me how would I know if I am not responsible for the phone bill, and I told him the phone bill is under my mother's name, not mine, and I don't cut the check to the company so I hardly ever looked into the bill unless i was getting the mail.

I also said I had better service from SBC anyways, and boy did that tick him off, he kept on saying that why would I care about that if he can save us more money, well guess what, we are paying 20-25 a month for the land line, including long distance, it doesn't make sense to get unneeded services and move from 20-25 to 39.99. How does that save us money???!!!

I am really ticked off when he lied about the DSL service they had. I said SBC had their own online techs at DSLREPORTS officially sponsered who we can talk to for tech problems or problems with the line. He said they had them too. In my mind I was like yeah sure. Guess what, I checked at DSLREPORTS and they dont have any. What a liar. Regardless, all these lines are owned by SBC and are probably leased over to them to use for their(MCI) DSL services.

What great service, he was raising his voice at me over the phone saying how would I know anything if I wasnt responsible for the phone. I mentioned over the phone this is the great service I was talking about, ended up he hung up on me, hahaha.
