MCM Harrassing Calls Wrong Number San Diago California
I moved into my house 12/12 and received a landline number that I only use for my fax. I started receiving calls from 18002658825 which I just ignored because I had'nt even began giving my fax number to anyone. After a few months I finally answered the phone, the man asked for someone who I did not know. I advised him that I just received the number and that he needs to remove the number. He wanted my name and address and I hung up. As of today, I have constantly told this company to check their records and research to find a new number for this person. They are debt collectors, I'm quite sure they can cross refrence my number and it will show a different name and address. I was told 5 times that my number would be removed and I am still getting calls, 4-6 times a day from 8am-9pm. I am tired and pissed because I have not given any business this number, I use my cell for everything. This is harrassment and now I'm wondering if I am able to file a lawsuit against this company. I have pulled my call records with Verizon and it shows how often they call me, back to back. Its pissing me off because its not for me or anyone I know. Its a wrong freaking number!!!!!
