I want everyone to beware of a company called Media Logic Inc. They are a small photography/video place we hired for our wedding on May 30, 2009. After a friendly and optimistic start with Media Logic Inc., we were very excited about how everything would turn out. We paid them a large up-front deposit for a picture/video combination package. They showed up on time and looking great. But that was the extent of their professionalism.

The wedding was perfect, and we looked forward to seeing the package we arranged to have with Media Logic Inc. After waiting the allotted 2-4 weeks time for developing/editing our big day, they had yet to contact us. So, we contacted them only to be told of the back-log of work they had (spring being the wedding season and all) and to please give them 2 more weeks.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]-->
Three weeks later, after still not being contacted by Media Logic Inc, we contacted them again, to, again, be given the run-around. Excuses and more excuses! Our wedding was May 30 and it is now the beginning of September and we have only just found out that our wedding day footage was damaged and "un-salvageable". Because we ordered the package including photos and a video from the same company, Media Logic Inc, we have nothing. Absolutely nothing from our wedding!
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]-->
Media Logic Inc refused to give us a refund and we are sadly left with no memories or accounts of "the happiest day of our lives". Please, please save yourself lots of heartache and money and don't use Media Logic Inc! I don't even know how they manage to stay in business with the level of service they don't provide.

I feel so bad for all of you. I hope that you all have written contracts! You clearly have a solid case of breach of contract. I hope you sue and get a good judgment. It won't ever make up for not having your pictures, but at least they'll be put out of business! Good luck.

Gosh, there are a lot of people coming forward about the horrible-ness of Media Logic Inc. I'm not surprised, just saddened. When I gave Media Logic Inc. my deposit check, I admit, I was a little bit hesitant because they were so new to the wedding business. I thought, though, that I was getting a deal because they needed to build a customer base. Now I know that Media Logic Inc. was trying to scam me and my fiance. How do we stop them from striking again? My wedding was not ruined, thankfully, but we never did get our deposit back from Media Logic Inc. Sorry to hear about the other stories but I'm glad they are on this site to maybe help someone else out there... Media Logic Inc. will scam you on your wedding day, be careful!

I too, have had a bad experience with Media Logic Inc. Chosen for their proximity to our ceremony, Media Logic Inc. showed up late and completely threw off all of our carefully laid out plans. Weddings are stressful enough without having to worry about your photographers messing everything up.
When the guys from Media Logic Inc. finally did show up, they didn't even get the very specific pictures we asked them to get. My wife's grandparents had flown in from Orlando and were only planning on staying at the reception for a short while. Media Logic Inc. missed the boat on that one, coming up to us toward the end of the night asking where they were...
I was outraged at Media Logic Inc.'s professionalism or rather, lack thereof and their refusal to return even some of our deposit because they didn't provide what they said they would provide. All this being said, I highly advise people to NOT use Media Logic Inc. for any service that you want done right.

I'm really sorry that this happened to you, April. My wife and I also used Media Logic Inc.'s services for our wedding. The same beginning process occurred, we were excited about their work and that they were available for our scheduled day.
The morning of the wedding came and they were no where to be found. Their phones seemed to be disconnected and we couldn't get ahold of them at all.
Luckily for us, we assumed they weren't going to show up and had a friend videotape the wedding and asked everyone to max out their cameras. We ended up with pretty good coverage of our wedding...
We later learned that they are scammers, taking people's deposits and then never showing up. I'm surprised they even bothered to show up to your wedding at all, and then, what, pretend to take footage? That's very strange. At least for my wife and I, we were able to get some semblance of the day.
I don't have any real advice for you except to keep doing what you're doing... Spread the word and try to save someone else's big day!
