My experience with Carlos at media solutions was a nightmare.

I will make the long ordeal as short and simple as possible. When I came in I was pitched a lot of stuff that was going to happen to my website including all my social media being included, all of my content being transferred over, all my reviews and my mailing list from my newsletter to be transferred over, and watermark technology which was supposed to be simple and easy to use. There were many other things negotiated and I most importantly wanted to make sure I did not lose any of my content when it was being transferred over to the new format. The best part of the agreement was the agreed upon 50 extra pages for my site to help keyword every state which would help my Google indexing.

It ended up taking way longer then the 5 to 10 business days, it took almost 2 months. Numerous times I avoided doing updates because they assured me the site would be ready soon and I lost sales because of it. By the time the site was ready it was a horrible cut and paste onto a new background and I was pissed. The website was nothing like the example I picked from the two he sent me. Of course none of my photos were watermarked. When we discussed this he said the watermarking would cost more. I was pretty angry but he explained it was a lot of work and blah blah blah so we agreed to another $150.

By the time my website was up it was not as easy to run as he explained it was basically on one of the popular free templates and was nothing unique and original like he had described. I did not get the watermark technology that was supposed to be easy so I upload all the photos on to my tablet and water mark them with a free app and then put them on the computer. So I basically paid 150 for them to have all of my photos bulk watermarked which would have taken me ten minutes. And even his tech guy explained that the watermark technology is new to him and it's not easy to use.

So as angry as I was I was really happy when the website was done so I can pay my balance and move on. When I went in I got a 15 or 20 minute tutorial (and I was owed 2 hours) from the sales manager just to find out he told me how to do everything completely wrong. And once I started working with my site I found mistakes and my newsletter did not function properly. They even avoided putting my email address and tried to skip out and removed a couple pages for my site which had heavy content. Anytime I wanted changes they wanted to charge me an hourly rate which was 50 an hour but somehow jumped up to 60 an hour, and I have emails of this.

I'm still having some difficulties and when I asked for any assistance they ignore me. The worst part is when I came to pay he tried to get extra money out of me and claim that I signed up for a 1500 package not a 1000 package. I luckily had the receipt in which I paid half of the balance and it showed that I purchased the 1000 website deal. I did not want to pay the other 150 since I never received the watermark technology but I had to to get my website back.

When I left and paid the balance I was assured my extra 50 pages were done and I would see them in a few weeks indexed on Google. After a few weeks I did the Google searches to find out they did not do those negotiated 50 pages and I emailed a few times just to get ignored. Finally I got a response from the new secretary since they only seem to last a month or two over there and she said that it would be an extra thousand for those 50 pages. I had asked numerous times for them to admit that they told me it was done when I paid the balance but they kept ignoring the question because they know they deceived me. Many times throughout its they offered to give me a full refund and take my website back which they knew was not an option since I had added so much work after they were done. The last time they offered that I decided I would take the offer and just take my money elsewhere and start from scratch. After asking them to initiate the refund they denied me because I had backed up my website and they said that was against our contract, keep in mind any agreement we had is null and void because they never fulfilled their part of the agreement and I never received any copy of a signed contract.

Carlos is a high pressure sales guy who will tell you anything to get your money but in the end he can not fulfill everything he promises. He doesn't even know how to do half the work and wasted hours of my time teaching me how to do web updates and accessing my website the wrong way. This was confirmed by his own tech guy.

Backing up my website is standard protocol to save all my content and the 20 hours of work I put into the site after they did everything. Plus all they did was transfer my years of work and photos on to a different format. They claim they have ownership of my logo even though it's my original logo. It took them 3 minutes to put together.

In short, avoid them at all costs.
