MedPlan ripoff Albany New York
In May 2002 Medplan called me on the phone with an "irresistible" offer to subscribe to their health plan coverage. I had to pay 349$ right then on the phone as this was unique offer... I did so (after much pressure and insistance from the sales person). Once I received the plan I quickly realised I was being overcharged. I therefore called back within a week to get back the guaranteed full refund they promised.
They said I will receive it within 4-6 weeks. That was in May 2002...and now in January 2003 I still haven't seen my money back. I called several times and always got promises of refunds but the money never arrived. Now, in January 2003, I tried one more time and this time the phone number was not in service anymore...what a surprise !! These people are full fledged thiefs and should be sued for their lies and thefts.
