I have been with Mega for 3 years. At first it semed like a good company to work for. Then I got thru my quickstart class. I believe they pump a lot of "good" leads to new hires, to get them makeing money and feel good about the company. Then after your first 13 weeks, it's on to the next sucker that took the bait. After 2-4 years I noticed that agents with that much time in were "forced out the door", if you know what I mean. They try to force low self esteem on you by telling you that you don't work the leads that your district manager has already called and either sold or made the potential client mad because of all the calls they have had. Even after they told the manager no 15 times, they still expect the other agents to continue to call until you get told to put them on the no call list.

There plans , even there new suite of plans still have limitations on them. Not to mention that if you add everything they offer, [which is what you have to do in order to even get it half way close to the real Major Medical plans on the market], they are out of the ballpark on price. And customer retention, what a joke. It seems there intent is to run your client off after the first 6-12 months. You know get there money for 12 months, most of the clients don't have any major claims in that time frame, then jack the premium up so they will leave to another carrier. Mega spends less money on claims than any other company.

The district manager in Wichita seems to have an agenda of running all the agents off. Keeping all the leads for himself, then telling you he doesn't understand what your problem is he has 10 appointments and 15,000 a.v., then when you check the reports you see he only has 2200 q.p.c. And he wants you to believe he is this sales guru. I don't know, There is a lot of agents some with the company and some not who have a lot of the exact same stories. It would seem to me that there is a class action lawsuit looking for a place to happen to me, If all agents would get together and file suit, we might be able to recoup money owed to us for all the hard work we have put into trying to make it work. They have broken a lot of promises to a lot of people. A team of you lawyers reading this should put something together for all the people who have been lied to. Maybe that would be the straw that would break the camel's back.

All I know is that I am a survivor and there is life after mega. I for one am moveing on and am not going to believe the lie any more. Slowly but surely they are mopping themselves into a corner. It is very obvious by looking at the production for the may '08 push week. A little over 10 million in production, half of what they wanted. A year ago they were doing 10 million a week without it being pushweek. Blackstone can't be happy with there investment in uga. I would think they will call that note in before long. I am just waiting on my contracts and new agent number so I can get all the clients I have switched to a real major medical plan. To anyone out there that is looking at going to work with mega, DON'T DO IT. You will regret it. I think I have got a lot off my chest for now if I think of something else I'll post it

What you have at Mega/Uga/Cornerstone/PDA/Healthmarkets/Nase/Afs/planetb.s. is a total fraud and a selling out of the companies responsibility to provide quality products to the field force to sell. That has never happened and never will because it is setup to sucker the agent and the client. The company makes mad cash whether the plan stays on or not, with interest on advances, taken rate (built in chargeback) and all the other bs you pay for like stock that is A-2 shares. Quess what A-2 shares are paid last after the fat cats get theirs with the A-1 and preferred, its a ripoff and I would encourage anyone thinking of signing up to run like the wind in the opposite direction. I am slaying Mega daily and will continue too, because payback is a biotch!! Adios Uga

This site really cracks me up! I have never seen such a bunch of whiners and complainers. Let me enlightened you on the life and the deal about selling Insurance. I have been in the business long enough to figure out the basic concept of how people make money on people in this business. Managers try to recruit agents away from your current company and will do and say anything to get back at there last company so you will leave them and go to them for an overide. This site is totally infested with scum bag class action suit attorneys and ex managers of Mega. Wake up, its really not the company is it???? So, in this case "Insurance" Mega is the only company with complaints?.. Give your self a a shake and stop listening to these ex-cons, oops i meane ex managers who were with Mega but got fired because there hand and toungue got caught in the money jar....Case in point, if anyone left Mega to go to Assurant Health under Eric Jones "esj financial" the guy wouldnt pee on you if you were on fire if he wasn"t making money off you. Managers that leave Mega or your current company sell smoke and mirrors to hire you, after all didn"t they recruit you that SMOKEY way ???????? Remember, the rep is the one selling the policy to the customer,not the company.Do your best to understand what the heck your promoting and selling from any company to the public, its your DUTY and you will be the victor in the end!!
