When the warranty was about to run out on our Buick , we received a letter from Mepco for a no
interest extended warranty. I consulted with a trusted mechanic and he believed it was a good idea to
buy a warranty these days. Normally we do not.
So, I called Mepco. Asked numerous questions. Was told I could cancel if I did not like the contract,
that took 5 weeks to come. Came today, and I do not like it. The wording shows it is bogus and they
are responsible for nothing. I have signed nothing, but they have my information. I can stop payment
on them and have the money to fight them legally, if they want to do so . However,They could put a
mark on our credit report and that burns me up.
What a complete rip off! I am mostly angry I fell for this Mess. They were good. I even refused the
first offer and they changed it. So sad we cannot put people like this out of business.
