Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Metwest mortgage put us in foreclosure because we would not pay for forceplaced insurance. They stated we had to have insurance on the moblehome that was on the property. There was and never has been a mobilehome on the property. The property is vacant land, which you can not insure. They have had us in foreclosure for 5years and 3months. The case was dismissed once and our attorney told us they would file another foreclosure, which they did 5months later. They have tried everything including saying we were behind on our payments, which did not work because I have all of my canceled checks. While they have us in foreclosure they sold our mortgage to Ocwen Federal Bank.Right know they have us owing more than we paid for the property in 1989. We finally filed for chapter13 bankruptcy to try and stop the insanity, but it just won't go away.If you have any dealings with Metwest Mortgage or Ocwen Federal Bank, be very careful.Someone needs to stop these people.I can not figure out how they get by with what they do to people and there lives. If I did something like this to someone, they would lock me up and throw the key away. Hope fully someone will have the power and means to fight them and win.

About a month ago a jury awarded $11.5 million to a lady in Texas that complained of similar treatment associated with her home equity loan. There were two other cases, also in Texas, within just the last 6 months, where plaintiffs were awarded $3.0 million each. Many other cases are pending (last count 27,201) throughout the U.S..
