Mid City Auto Parts ripoff TOTAL FLEECING- SKILLED PIRACY IN THE MODERN WORLD--BUYER BEWARE AND RISK TOTAL LOSS Milwaukee Wisconsin
I posted a request via an internet locator service for a particular Saab engine and received a reply from Mid City Auto Salvage indicating the availability of an engine matching my request. After Mid City assured me that they were able to supply the correct engine matching my description, I placed an order agreeing to the $1750 purchase price and the 7 to 10 day delivery, charging the amount to my Discover card thinking that if there was any funny business at I would be protected.
Almost one moth later an engine not meeting the original description was delivered having been shipped from Grissom Auto Parts in San Antonio, Texas. Upon inspection, I discovered this was the engine I had declined during an earlier search. I began contacting Mid City, leaving messages for Shaun to return my calls. Shaun did contact me after four calls stating that he guessed I had been shipped a defective core engine by mistake.(Does this sound familiar to anyone else?) I agreed to ship the defective engine back to the supplier in Texas and awaited a replacement engine which arrived almost 1 1/2 months later. This engine was also not a correct engine, so I refused delivery and the freight company took it back.
Over the next 3 months I corresponded with Mid City and Discover card (over 30 phone calls and 27 written pages with photos and proof of the rip off) in an attempt to get something for my money resulting in a refusal on Mid City's part to continue and a refusal of Discover card to refund any amount based on this scrawled handwritten reply; "Card holder never once called and stated wether this part is bad!. So this is knew to me My website total show's card holder how to send back Just klick on to www.midcityautosalvage.com So till this part is return to Mid City there will be no refund". I am surprised at the brazen audacity of Mid City's PIRATES and their ability to completely fleece me of $1750 hard earned american dollars as well as their knowledge of the credit system, knowing exactly the right number of days to draw out the process until time had expired for a refund from Discover Card. Discover card lost a 20 year customer, Mid City pockected $1750 and I lost the money, just as you will do if you have anything to do with these criminals.

Look up Mid-City Auto Salvage(use the hyphen) in your search to see more on these crooks- also call the numbers ( F.B.I., State attorney Generals Office, Milw. County D.A. and City of Milwaukee) and let them know your story- we have them on the run, and it won't be long before they PAY!

I am very interested in joining class action litigation against these modern day pirates and have excellent documented evidence of the theft that has occurred.
