FACTUAL UPDATE OF EVENTS: After not providing a warranty replacement (as they agreed to do so), Mid-City (Shawn), has failed to provide any level customer service. We disassembled the motor and found that the crank had significant wear. This motor was obviously bad before we even purchased it. We offered to have Shawn at Mid-City replace the crank and bearings and we would rebuild the motor at the cost of PARTS ALONE (not to mention the sunken cost of wasted labor, parts, towing ETC). He directly lied to us saying he had ordered the parts and shipped them. After we did not receiving the parts Shawn told us they were on back order. After calling the distributor from which they allegedly purchased the parts from, they had no order from Shawn, nor did they stock OR EVEN SELL the crank for this engine. Honda is the only place to even purchase such parts. MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION AND OPINIONS: PLEASE do not buy anything from this company, they are very unethical and they are managed by people who are clearly compulsive liars. Shawn: expect certified mail from my lawyer in the very near future

Spoke to Shawn at Mid-City and he is following through with his statement of replacing the motor under warranty. The problems mainly revolve around their customer service department which needs much work. I will post another update when the engine arrives.
