Butler County/West Chester residents BEWARE!! I have been a regular customer of Mike's Car Wash for years generally in the self serve bays because they allowed the most time for the money. On 4/17/16 my car was damaged by the prep gun in Mike's Car Wash off Cin Day in their self-serve bay. When I pulled in there was time left on the meter from the previous user who also left the gun laying on the ground. When I started loading money in, the gun came on full pressure and started flipping around like a loose fire hose. The metal wand put a dent in the roof of my car which I reported immediately to management. Pictures were taken and a report was filed. I was contacted a week later by their claims manager, Janeese Sarrazin, who told me there was no way this could have happened that "the gun doesn't just float through the air". I was all but called a liar - really poor form for a so called manager. A spray gun with a high psi of water pressure will certainly flip around!
The bottom line? They refused to accept responsibility for the damage. I believe Mike's Car Wash is negligent in either the maintenance of their equipment or the wash bays as the wand should never have been left on the ground in an empty bay and/or a prep gun should NEVER be fully engaged without being triggered by the operator. That is a personal injury lawsuit waiting to happen. I didn't receive an offer to refund my money for that car wash, free washes or even a simple apology. That would have gone a long way with me. I've worked in sales for years. How a company handles a problem leaves a lasting impression wit customers either good or bad. Extremely poor customer service! The BBB complaint ID for this is 11412391.

Well hello Mr. Helper, "Tyg". First of all, the location of the prep gun is irrelevent. A high pressure device should only be able to be activated by the operator via a trigger or other intentional means. Automatically turning on risking property or personal injury is a huge liability. Secondly, your overuse of CAPITAL LETTERS AND EXCLAMATION MARKS!! speaks volumes about your maturity. Your junior high rhetoric and social media style bullying is pointless. This doesn't concern you and any further comments will be ignored. Next.

Ok so instead of securing the high pressure hose YOU leave it on the ground and when something happens its THIER fault. All because YOU didnt even stop and pick it up off the ground. TYPICAL!!!!! So it MUST be thier fault since its THIER equipment. YOU TOTALLY NEGATE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY!!! IF you had been a customer for all those years then YOU KNEW its a high pressure system. YOU didnt even secure the wand before putting money in. YOU KNEW it had a chance of whipping around. WHY should THEY apologize for YOUR SCREW UP!!!!! What are they going to apol;ogize for?? That YOU arent smart enough to secure the wand BEFORE you put money in to start it up??
