It's been 3 YEARS and no laptop. These guys are a total joke. It is my mission to spread the word of their unprofessionalism. They are nothing but scammers. anyone reading this: these guys don't listen. the only way to put then out of business is to take down all their illegally placed signs and spread the word.

I also responded to this deceptive advertisement from the Mini Dish Network. I was offered a free laptop for new service. The sign I read said nothing about it being a mini laptop, just a laptop. I was told 6-8 weeks from Troy who takes the orders and 30 days from the installer. After 6-8 weeks I called and was told 90 days. Troy insisted that he tells everyone 90 days but here he is in his own words stating 6-8 weeks.
It took 120 days to get my prize and it took many phone calls to get it. I had to threaten to file complaints with local authorities to get any kind of action. Troy and his bookkeeper eventually stopped calling me back and started texting me, very unprofessional in my opinion. My last text from Troy was very disturbing to say the least. in his test he stated me that he had told me my laptop was in the mail because he wanted me to go away. He also stated that is was now really in the mail and that he wouldn't lie to a customer, he called be an idiot and told me to file whatever complaints I found necessary. After that text his bookkeeper called me and informed me that it had in fact not shipped ( he was lying after all) but that I could come and pick it up myself if I wanted it and I did just that.
The laptop is in the mail wasn't the only lie though. What I received was an android powered mini book that only runs apps like a smart phone. It is not a computer at all.

Okay Troy, lie your way out of that one.

Guaranteed this person has gotten there laptop as promised by now... as far as shipping time is concerned I tell everyone its 6 to 8 weeks for delivery since it takes dishnetwork 3 to 4 weeks to pay out on there install..... people only hear what they want to hear which is unfortunate.... this customer could have saved there self time by just contacting me directly and I would have explained that its not 30 days for shipping but instead they would rather try and make us look bad when in fact no other retailer AT ALL would have given them anything and still charged them a $49.99 processing fee... we believe in giving something back to the customers for giving us there business and all they want to do is talk bad about our company.... honestly it makes me feel like not offering anything anymore but im not going to allow a handful of customers to change my mind about giving something back in return for giving me business.... i suppose I could be like everyone else and not give anything but I prefer to show my appreciation by offering a gift like the mini laptop to all my customers. this isnt a perfect world and mistakes will and have been made so im saying im not perfect but if a mistake has been made we do everything we can to make it right with our customers. we are a legit and professional company that believes in taking care of all our customers no matter how small the issue or problem is. Please everyone understand as hard as we try we cannot make every person happy and theres allways going to be 1 bad apple in the tree to ruin the entire bunch for everyone such as this person here. We will continue to offer gifts to all of our customers regardless of how upsetting it is to hear that some of our customers dont appreciate our kindness of showing appreciation by offering everyone a thank you gift.
