On December 4th, 2006, Mr. Ford purchased an IBM system board Part # 89P7933 from Minnesota Computers. He paid $185.00 via credit card for the board through Minnesota Computers online order system that explains in detail the warranty, shipping costs, return policy, restocking fees etc...
Mr. Ford was shipped IBM system board Part# 89P7933 on 12/4/2006.
On December 21, 2006 Mr. Ford called Minnesota Computers wanting to return the board as he had found one cheaper elsewhere. Minnesota Computers promptly issued RMA# 38992. Mr. Ford was reminded of the restocking fee he had agreed to verbally and in writing when he purchased via our online order system and the 30 day return policy. Mr. Ford agreed.
Mr. Ford did not return the board to Minnesota Computers until January 13th, 2007 which was past the 30 return period. Minnesota Computers told Mr. Ford they would still refund his money minus the restocking fee.
Mr. Ford though, before returning the board had filed (unknown to Minnesota Computers) a credit card dispute with Visa.
Minnesota Computers responded to the credit card dispute properly.
Minnesota Computers provided Visa all signed documentation by both parties.
Visa rightfully ruled in favor of Minnesota Computers.
Minnesota Computers received the restocking fee.
Mr. Ford received the rest of his money back.
Minnesota Computers went over and beyond on this transaction.
