Mike Skitzke from Molly Maid took me good. I didn't know that I was being scammed. I was given 10 people to call to check on the business, what I realize now is that these people were set up. Yes, paid by the company to sway me in their direction. I still cannot believe that. However I was sold so good that I invested my $110,000 and borrowed $50,000 from the bank because that was the Liquid Capital Requirement. I found a small store to run out of and went to the training. It was basic information, using quickbooks, some other programs, and talking about NOT hurting their name. They are the ones hurting their own name by scamming people. I can see it by checking the bulletin boards. There have been a lot of people scammed by Molly Maid. I had to borrow another $30,000 from the bank. Now I was in the hole almost $200,000. So all the money I had saved for my son and daughters schooling, and my house, and any money I had in the world. Gone. Now I had to hire someone with the promise of a paycheck. She left after 3 weeks of inactivity. I was not helped with finding clients as promised, I was NOT supported by the company, I was left on my own with MAJOR DEBT. The kind of debt they take your house away from. I called and called in to Molly Maid to get my investment back. I spoke to Chuck Lisner. He gave me the sob story of hard times, and lack of funds for me. There was no rufund they could give me, but offered to retrain me for free. Well that meant more $ spent on not running my business, and more debt, so. I opted out and spoke to my laywer. We are looking to take Molly Maid to court. They are scam artists and should be stopped. I hope I have helped some people in their decision not to join Molly Maid. Save your money. After speaking to both Mike Skitzke and Rob Groggins, both sales representatives of Molly Maid, and having attended the Preliminary interviews, my Wife and I sent, and they quickly cashed our franchise fee. Having done that, we both attended the initial training, and were advised to procure an office, with the required "frontage" as well as financed 6 MM cars, with logos. Additionally, the "required" equipment and software. Having completed our "training in Quoting and financial management" we were approved to open business. Now having spent an additional 5k on advertising locally, here we sit. Occasionally getting a request for a quote, using the "suggested formula, we consistently quote 10-15% too high for our area. Our competitors are more efficient, less expensive, lower overhead and in general,,,geting fat while I sit here starving. I have spoke with Mike, he insists we are doing everything correct. Rob will no longer return our calls. I have requested a meeting of Regional heads to review our situation, all I get is "no one is available for that time frame:. I aske they chose the time, no answer. For the money involved, I AM SURE ANY COURT WOULD FIND THEM IN THE WRONG FOR NON SUPPORT.

It's sad to see, but this happened to me too. I was bought in because Rob Goggins told me that there was good potential here. And there was a chance to make good money. All I had to do was invest about $120,000. That is a lot of money to me, but I took out a loan and opened business. Hired 2 people. Began working. Had no clients for about 3 months. I called in to talk to Rob, but there was no answer there. So then I spoke to a few support people there. Mike was one of them. He was very little help, sounded like he was reading from a script. I finally got 2 clients, but they said we did such a bad job, they never called me again. No one did. It was weird. I called in for more help, assistance. anything. I didn't get any help or clients. It became a sad, lonely place there. Now more that $300,000 in the hole I closed down. I asked for my $ back . My investment that I took out against my home. Nothing. They will not give me any money back. I am out in the wind, and I have nothing. My wife is leaving me, and I have nothing. So, sadly I have to sure Molly Maid, unless the tax collectors take me to jail first. Stay away from Molly Maid

More of the same here. I cannot believe I found someone with problems almost the same as mine. That leads me to believe that there are a lot of people out there scammed by molly maid. I also spoke to Rob Goggins, back in February. He got me to quit my job, give them $90,000+, and "don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya...." I spoke to a man named Joel several times for support. The information was unhelpful. The literature I received on this company told me that they were supposed to be professionals. That was a farce. The staff and crew have no clue about what they are talking about. I asked for $ back, had an agreement, then they re-neg'ed on it. SO I got nothing. I spoke to my lawyer, we have good case, so looks like its a settlement or court. Good luck to you...

I have been running, or trying to run my Molly Maid franchise for about 7 months now. As of yet, I have not made back any of my initial investment of $100,000. Not even close. I have made about $1,042 and change. That is not for lack of trying. I have done everything that I was told to do. I initially spoke to Rob Goggins. He is the so called Franchise development manager at molly maid. There are a lot of inconsistencies in what he told me to what is reality. He told me that I will need to work this full time, about 40 hours a week. He told me there is no way to work the job I was working, because of the time needed to make this business grow. So, against my husbands best wishes, we borrowed against our house, and I plopped down the $ and quit my job that I was at for 17 years. I was making about 70 thousand a year, and I was told I could make double to triple that. Well the 40 hours I was told I might have to put in turned in to about 9-15 hours a day To run this business. That is way too much time to walk away with $1,042 and change for 7 months. Rob Goggins basically told me that a day in the life is this. You get in about 8:00, the workers come and pick up a list of houses and keys. From there you do some office work, and they return with the money. Simple as that. Basic office management. That is totally preposterous! Rob told me that I will have to get an office in an industrial part of town. A low rent district would be fine. I was told that it does not need to be professional or visible, just some place for the cleaning people to get their assignments and return with the money. 500 to 600 square feet. Well, rent is not cheap, anywhere you go. So that is another added expense that they do not talk about when you are signing up. The training is bogus. Basically about 3 weeks of simply business info. Nothing on making money, just on keeping their name clear. Nothing on advertising. Nothing helpful. Nothing that talks about the real world. They software they provided, aside from a program similar to QuickBooks, and some other junk was just that.junk. They spoke about managing employees, and after listening to Rob speaking you could tell he had no clue what he was talking about and never managed someone before. As for instructions on cleaning houses, basic, nothing that requires a $100,000 investment. However, I moved on with the project, overlooking the red flags popping out all over,I hired 3 girls to work for me. An added expense, put my name out there and hoped for the best. I offered a few freebie's here and there. Nothing came of it. The great instructional videos did nothing to help me on marketing. I did 3 freebies and 25 houses that paid for it. 1 complained to the Molly Maid Co. about me, 1 got my # from the info on my site and called me at home,. and the rest seemed happy, but never called me back, or hired us again. And when I had questions, where was molly maid to help? No where. I spoke to several people at the company.Bob Ufar at ext 220, Kelly Viti at ext 315, Joel Green at ext 557, and Dane Benson at ext 240. None of which offered me any more assistance than the other one did. Basic scripted answers. 2 of them gave me the same answer, word for word. Now THAT scared me. There was no support, because the support was not helpful. It took them a while to answer voicemails and emails. So here I am, 7 months later, and down a WHOLE lot of money. My husband and I are on the outs. I can't say I blame him much, I mean, it was a lot of money, and a lot of time put in. I did not have much time for us. So that's the deal. Next week I am closing my business down. I have to talk to my lawyer tomorrow. I did call back Rob Goggins to talk to him about getting my money back. Maybe not all of it, but some of it. He has yet to return my 7 phone calls. Nothing. He called me religiously before they had my money, now, Not at all. No one calls you back. Before you think about ruining your life and spending all your money.Look elsewear. This business is an out and out scam. Call Molly Maid President David McKinnon. His extension is 100. Ask him what he thinks. Ask him if he is happy with his scam!
