I reall thought I was going to get the auto parts I needed but Ed would quote me a price than he kept going up on the price a little more each time and could not make up his mind up on the shipper. The last shipper was to be central transport which had a bad rating of just 1 star I ask for a better shipper becauce I wanted to receive my parts undamage but he kept going higher on the price . So I offer him a price of $500.00 max then he refuse my offer. All he was losing out of the deal was $35.00 never again.

We would like to start by saying that this site is a scam.  They create a place for people to complain about companies and then charge the company to fix the complaint.    No place to be positive, this place is built to be negative.  We have 40-50k transactions a year and less than a handful of complaints.  We work very hard to provide good service and you will have trouble finding a salvage yard that is easier to deal with or works harder.  Our feedback on ebay is 100% for a reason.  There is always going to be complaints if you deal with enough people...

This review isnt deserved, flat out.  We have since received an apology from Charles Barker on ebay.  The customer had sent 20-30 emails and 10 or so phone calls about different parts for his car.  We answered all emails quickly, providing pictures upon request.  The email chain lasted weeks, but we kept replying, trying to help, sending pictures etc... all while he saved money for the parts he wanted.  He is older man and on a fixed income, had to wait for the funds to purchase.

Once he was closer to purchasing, the customer complained the price for his order kept going up.  We had to ship truck freight due to the size of the parts.  We quoted the cheapest carrier that we could as most people prefer.  The customer didnt like the reviews of the carrier, so we explained that another carrier will cost more money, but we can use anyone.    He also stated they didnt have a forklift or truck dock on delivery, so we would have to pay extra to order him a lift gate.  The rise in price that upset him was because he asked for a different trucking company and additional services such as lift gate.  That was the only increase.  

 

The customer didnt seem to understand the increase in price and sent an email not only making threats to us, but also offering less money than the original freight quote.  The original order was $535 (already gave him our cost on shipping and a bottom dollar price on the parts he needed). Charles offered $500, but also demanded the lift gate and different trucking company that would have been at least $100 more than the original $535 quote.  So he was offering at least $135 less,  demanding more services, making threats about feedback, and giving us a lecture on our industry. This all lead to us deciding this transaction was a bad idea.   After weeks of labor responding while he saved money to order, we made the decision not to sell to him.  That is where the smear campaign started across multiple sites.

We took the time to explain things to Charles AGAIN, he then issued an apology to us and deleted some of the negative comments.  We have since still offered to help him despite the public bashing for no reason.  We are here to post our side of the story and clear this up.

OKAY I am very sorry for my actions I just got very upset about the price kept going up I under stand your point but I really wanted to buy the those parts Monday and I did not feel safe with the shipper., I just want the parts to arrive safely I live on a budget each month and I put a certain amount of money to invest in my car restore project because I live on retirement each month.If we could have gone through Ebay I would feel safe about it. The minute you would have put it on Ebay I would had bought the parts.I guess there is no chance that I could still get them.If I could still get the parts on Ebay I would buy them. But just the upper back seat with the head rest and the dash board only no seat belts keep it under the $500.00 range. and if I made threats I am sorry for that to.
