Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
For the past few months, I've been getting phone calls from a guy named either Eric or Alex (Honestly, I think he changes his name every time he calls).  This guy claims he is from Morgan & Associates, a law firm that is filing "Criminal" Charges on me for a loan they claim I defaulted on.  I've never had any personal loans, only one auto loan.  The calls started after I was researching possible cash advance options on the internet, ie: Payday loans, etc to help cover medical expenses to help treat my wife's cancer...  They will leave messages on my phone if I don't answer, with the threats of the lawsuit.  I've answered a few times, and the guy is very hard to understand with the typical thick Indian or Middle Eastern accent.  Fortunately, I'm well informed from my credit lawyers about the rules, regulations and laws of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.  The company, at your request MUST give you their mailing address.  I ask for the mailing address of any creditor so that I can send them written letters asking them to stop contacting me by phone and to contact me only by mail correspondence.  However, any time I asked to speak to a manager, supervisor or asked for the address I'm chewed out, told that they will see me in court and simply hang up on me.  They have no right taking you to CRIMINAL court for civil litigation (ie: defaulted loans).  I also informed them that I'm in the US military and will file charges against them, however, while this might stall the calls for a few days, to a few weeks, they always keep calling back.  Finally, this morning when they called me and left a voice-mail, I called back asking to speak to a supervisor or manager and the "Gatekeeper" would not send me through, and hung up on me.  So in turn, I spent about 30 minutes of my life, calling the same guy, stating my name and asking to speak to a supervisor.  All I got in response was "I hang up on your face now"...  lol...  While this is funny, it was still very annoying.  Finally, they disconnected the number I was trying to call back on.  As a communications specialist, just because the phone number that shows up on your caller ID might be coming from a familiar area code, does not mean it is legit.  With technology these days, many call centers utilize spoofing, which hides the actual number, and places an alias number on your caller ID.  Don't give into these guys, they don't have all your information.  They will ask for bank account information, your complete social security number, date of birth etc.  A general rule of thumb is to not give any information to someone that is contacting you; they should already have your information.  They WILL drain your bank account, they WILL steal your identity, and you will have years of problems if/when they do.  Hope this helps for anyone having problems with them.
