My vehicle was originally taken in for a burning smell, my dash gauges needed replacement, air-conditioning not working and radio was continually going off and on. Was told all was covered before taking it in. Received call from dealership, after them waiting 3 days for an insur. adjuster to come out, telling me lthat the car has 3 leaks. They are only approving 1, he did not take car out for any kind of drive (which i made clear on the invoice lthat the car needed to be driven around to hear it going in and out) and the radio came on when he turned the car on so it is not covered, (something they suppossedly replaced one yr previoulsy) and the air-conditioning is not covered because of corosion. I was told of the hell lthe service manager went thru to get someone to understand that the car is still going to leak from the other two leaks,,they hung up on her! I called to complain to Motor Vehicles Solutions, I was told by a young man named Justin, that maybe I should be grateful for what I do have rather than what I don't have. I had called company back the following day to complain about him and how the service manager was treated. I felt all the needed repairs should be taken care of all at once, because it is just going to cost then more in car rentals and my time, which I was missing my time off work because of my balance being off due to a recent procedure done on my back and I needed to be able to make it all up because they make us pay for our rental cars first then they are suppossed to reimburse us,,(hopefully!) Too bad! I picked my car up after 5 days of car rentals and the burning smell was hurendous. I took it back they cleaned up any chemicals that may have been left and suggested I bring it back in a few days to check the other leaks. When I did 4 days later I was shown the other leaks continued to leak. I paid for another car rental, Motor Vehicles told me it would be covered and there would not be another deductable of $100.00. The other two leaks were repaired, but driving my car out, my alternator went out. They called Motor Vehicles to inform them and they said let it go,,the service manager told them she will not make it very far because the battery has not been being charged. So, they approved it but not any of the dealer's alternater, it had to be from a parts store and it had to be the parts number that was given to them. They ordered it but it was going to a few days,,,more car rental fees on me. The car dealership came to pick me up because I had no more money to pay for a rental, started my car up and the battery light comes on. Took the car back into them and she fills me in that the part they wanted kjto put in my car is a GM alternater and my car iss a Chevy Monte Carlo 2005. The mechanic had a difficult time putting it in becauise it did not fit but he was instructed by the insurance adjuster to make it fit. I call the Insur. Co. and they tell me that this is what is in the contract. They did approve it to come from the dealer ship but this is a Chevrolet Dealer not GM, so I am still with no car and have to wait until they receive the part kthat we already know does not fit and I don't have any idea as to what is going to lhappen with that yet as of 11-21-2015
