In May 2010 I was looking for a replacement carb for my classic Honda bike. Browsing the web I found the site of Motorcyclecarbs.com, where a Mikuni VM-22 was offered, prejetted for my model and year Honda.
I made inquiries via e-mail about their ability to deliver and to send the carb to my address in the Netherlands. I received a positive respons and Robert P. Reil of Motorcyclecarbs.com promised to deliver after payment was received. I paid the full amount, USD 229.95, by wire transfer. Credit card payment was aparently not possible from The Netherlands. The money was transferred, however no carb was received...
I made numerous e-mail inquiries over the past months. No reply was ever received. No phonecalls are being answered either. The mail address for order inquires is even out of service. I believe this is a scam. I paid my money and received nothing, not even a response to inquiries. Don't use this company!

Today I received the carb I ordered from Motorcyclecarbs.com in good order.
Shortly after filing my original report at ripoffreport.com I was contacted by Robert Reil of Motorcyclecarbs.com. It appeared that my carb was on backorder.
Aparently they just experienced a pletora of technical and situational setbacks that have made customer service follow-up difficult. The problem is now solved and my issue was dealt with satisfactorily in the end.
