Movie Facts MovieFacts Demanding Payment for Services NOT received. Des Plaines IL
This is the final email that I just sent to MovieFacts / movie facts whatever name it is going by today. I was threatened with legal action. The agreement was verbal. I have email evidence that MovieFacts did not adhere to the agreement; however, they keep calling and demanding payment for a service that I did not receive.
After, yet another, heated discussion with Mari today at Movie Facts - It was admitted that MF in fact did not complete the requested agreement for February, March or April and now after 3 months of arguing want to "offer" for me to have additional months for free but charge for the months that were admitted to be incorrect. Again, my position is this:
A) I provided the art work in January in plenty of time for it to be advertised correctly, Movie Facts dropped the ball and printed the ad incorrectly.
B) In February, it was admitted that the art was received in January, yet again, Movie Facts printed the ad incorrectly in February issue.
C) In March, AGAIN, it was admitted that the art was received in January, yet a thrid time, Movie Facts printed the ad incorrectly in March issue.
D) After being confirmed 3 times and the email below, April's ad was printed incorrectly.
E) I received copy of a proof YESTERDAY for May, which I never agreed too. I agree to 3 months of advertisement February 2014, March 2014, April 2014. All of which were printed incorrectly at the fault of Movie Facts.
I DO NOT want to continue to advertise through Movie Facts, I do not wish to accept your offer of pay for the months you dropped the ball, but accept 3 months free.
I have requested to cancel service, I DO NOT WISH to continue with Movie Facts. I am refusing to pay for a service I did not receive, I am refusing to pay an invoice when the contract was not honored on Movie Facts side. If you wish to take further action in Court, I will be glad to show up with the evidence in hand.
