The company wishes its females employees to dress NOT professionaly BUT provocatively. After the employee was told to do so, the owner then, when confronted with the situation at hand, denied all allegations right in front of the employee and the buisness manager, who was given the role of telling the employee to dress more provocatively, wear more make-up, and put more curls in her hair, as well! Despite this car buisness being shady, they also treat their employees with disrespect and with a degrading tone.

Some proof for Julia

Let's breakdown this rebuttal down by each lie provided - Julia was a very short-termed, unsuccessful, disgruntled employee (DUE TO THE WAY THE EMPLOYEES ARE TREATED, WON'T YOU BE DISGRUNTLED?) I have worked at Muller Pontiac GMC for the past 7 years. I was there during the very short time Julia was an employee. She confided in me some of her frustrations because she was unable to complete even one sale. (LET'S SAY THIS STATEMENT IS TRUE FOR A MINUTE, DIDN'T YOU JUST BREAK A CONFIDENCE? IMAGINE WHAT THEY DO TO THEIR CUSTOMERS) She stated in her ripoff report that 'the company wishes its female employees to dress NOT professionaly BUT provocatively.' By her own report, she stated that she was told 'to wear more make-up, and put more curls in her hair.' Even if someone, in an attempt to help her improve her appearance, said that (and I don't know that anyone did), how does that translate to 'provacative?' (WHY TRY TO JUSTIFY THIS IF IT DIDN'T HAPPEN, WHICH IS A WAY OF LIFE AT THIS DEALERSHIP) I take great offense to this because I don't and never have dressed anything but professionally at Muller Pontiac GMC. The company, in fact, has a strict dress code, which it enforces, for nothing less than professional attire. The truth is that Muller Pontiac GMC is a trail-blazer for women in this industry. Right now, this dealership has women in the positions of both New Car Manager and Used Car Manager. (THE PART OF THIS STATEMENT THAT IS LEFT OUT IS THAT THE "USED CAR MANAGER" IS SLEEPING WITH THE OWNER, THEY NOW LIVE TOGETHER. WONDER HOW SHE GOT THE JOB? :) ) Both of us dress in nothing less than professional attire. (THIS STATEMENT IS VERY FUNNY AS THE "USED CAR MANAGER" IS ALMOST ALWAYS IN JEANS NOT BUSINESS ATTIRE) And both of us rose to our positions based on our work, (THAT DEPENDS ON THE TYPE OF "WORK" YOU ARE THAT WAS PERFORMED) not on our dress. Please, let me know if you find any other car dealership in the US with females in both New Car & Used Car Manager positions. Julia also stated 'Despite this car buisness (sic) being shady ...' She gives no specific evidence of 'being shady.' (I WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO PROVIDE ANYONE WITH VERY SPECIFIC EVIDENCE ON THE 'SHADY PRACTICES' OF THIS DEALERSHIP. I'LL PROVIDE 2 NOW BUT THERE ARE SO MANY MORE. EXAMPLE 1 - A COUPLE PURCHASED A JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE, THAT HAD A LOT OF MILES, THAT HAD JUST BEEN TAKEN IN AS A TRADE-IN. THE VEHICLE WAS CHECKED OUT BY THE MULLER MECHANICS AND MANAGEMENT WAS TOLD THE VEHICLE WAS ABOUT TO BLOW THE ENGINE. THAT BEING THE CASE, THEY COULDN'T SEND IT TO THE AUCTION BECAUSE OF THE MONEY THEY WOULD LOSE. THEY SOLD IT TO THE POOR COUPLE WHO HAD THE CAR LESS THAN 12 HOURS BEFORE IT BLEW UP. THEY CAME BACK AND WERE TOLD TOO BAD. EXAMPLE 2 - THEIR CARS ARE PRICED WITH A 'CODE' SO THE SALESMAN KNOW WHEN THERE IS A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH A PARTICULAR CAR THEY ARE SHOWING SO THEY CAN TRY AND COVER UP THE PROBLEM.) We are not shady, (WOW!! DOESN'T SOUND 'SHADY' TO ME - LIKE I SAID, THERE IS SO MUCH MORE.) which is why we have one of the highest rates of repeat customers in the industry. Here's what I propose to you: If Julia can give credible evidence to support that statement, then let it stand (I THINK ENOUGH EVIDENCE WAS PROVIDED, DON'T YOU? IF NOT I CAN KEEP GOING) and report the specifics here. But if she can't, then remove her entire entry.
