I found out about the horse swap when the farmer's agent contacted me by email for clarification of the sequence of events because Patricia Reid was at this point claiming I had never paid her for the foal. I have the paypal receipt for payment to Patricia Reid's personal account, so I was able to send this to the agent.

Their rebuttal only leads Mustang-Spirit to more trouble. They issued a tax receipt for a foal that Patricia Reid swapped in for the one I bought (unbeknownst to me at the time, but not to her...), therefore, it was not my foal to transfer and she knew it! When they took possession of the swapped in foal they still had not paid the farmer for it. I know this because the farmer's agent came after me for payment! This is how I got the proof in writing of the fact that foal C-11 (the one I paid for)was not available at the time I had paid for it, and that Patricia Reid requested a replacement foal without my consent. I went directly to the IRS to report the crime. Our complaint is filed with both the FBI and the IRS at this time. The tax receipt issued is useless to anyone. The IRS was told of the complete circumstances of the issuance of it when I filed my detailed complaint.

When the claim first came about that this was the wrong horse, we verified with the broker it was the correct horse, now she has changed her story, but besides this fact, what this person does not write is that they signed this horse over to our rescue and did receive a tax deductable receipt for $3000, which is what they claim is the value of the horse, not to mention much more then they paid for the horse, so they have been compinsated and we feel this issue is done and over!!
