EDitor's UPDATED info 2-20-04: Rip-off Report is still receiving complaints that they are not receiving the refunds as promised. Rip-off Report has been in contact with the Company and has made them aware of these issues. They have assured us that refunds are being given to those who are providing them with all the correct contact information requested by them. They have also provided confirmation/proof of over 2,600 refunds to date, on a spreadsheet, and Rip-off Report staff called and verified more than a dozen consumers at random, all very angry & outraged, but, they all did get their refund. The company again apologized for the delay and reported that credit to your account could take as long as 4-5 days. As we understand it, this company only does the processing for all the other companies, so they are at the mercy of those companies funds, further delaying your refund. Rip-off Report is hoping they will live up to what they have promised, we think they will, ..we'll see. CLICK HERE to see how World Benefits contacted Rip-off Report, stating they will give REFUNDS to unsatisfied customers.Well they called back in November and they promised a credit card and a credit report kit and I agreed. But then they said if you wanted to cancel to call 3 days before the payment was set to be withdrawn and I did.
Well they said their computers were down because that day they only made calls and not received them and that it was too late.
Well ok so they took it and the package came in december 23,2003. They said the credit card would come in 7 days. It never came and then well I called and they said we will have the bank send another one. That never happened and thru all of this I am out 299.00 because we are going to file bankruptcy anyway we just wanted a credit card.
Today I just called and finally got thru. They said that with the cd rom that comes with the package I could get my credit card. Well I lost it so I tried calling back and now it won't go thru. A chinese woman on a message saying that I got the wrong number.
Please help I can't here the end with my husband he is very upset. Please help punish these people for taking advantage of paople like me and many others I see. I thought I was alone I guess not.
