MyLife.com, Inc. MyLife.com Terms of Agreements/Violations, Internet
In 2009, I opened an account. In 2010, I canceled my Premium membership. In October 2012, I searched www.mylife.com to see if I had a profile and nothing came back. I joined and paid $15.95 for one month premium membership. I did some searches and then the next day I come back to log in and no record of account.
I call customer service eight times. I was hung up on two times; one by a Supervisor. After constantly trying to get information from the customer service representatives, I get Nancy who is the Supervisor. She tells me that my account was deleted for user activity violations. I ask what is that. She tells me she doesn't have any other information other than that.
I ask her if my account was DELETED, then why couldn't I just create another one? Instead of telling me the violations and move on; she just goes into this chant about "Is there anything else I can assist you with today"? If it wasn't that, she just says "your account was deleted and you can run free searches". I asked her if I was banned from using MyLife and she states "you can never be a premium member with myLife, but you can always search using our free search". She would not come out and say I was banned for Life from becoming a member.
I was livid after 2 hours trying to get answers for something I don't even know what I did wrong to be terminated/deleted and banned from joining MyLife.com. She refused to tell me. I still don't know what I did; if I did anything at all. Stay away from this website and don't call customer service because all they do is put you on hold after you explain why you are calling only to have to explain it all over again to a Supervisor. You won't get answers; just excuses. I wrote to the Corporate office to find out what I did to be banned from a Premium member....we'll see if they respond. I also filled out an arbitration notice as well.
I was treated like I was a person who did something horrific and they couldn't speak of it for violation of their own "need to know" policy.
I think the problem I did was join them back in 2009 and came back in 2012....I should have just said "NO"!
