On July 7, 2011 ordered a topical pain relief product called Biofreeze from Myvitanet.com. This was my first time completely ripped off online. I paid about $45 for a large bottle of the stuff to help my knee pain. And it never came.

I smelled something fishy when there were a lot of broken links in the online materials. Also, a misdirection email was sent from the company right off the bat saying "It takes a long time, things are on back order, be patient."

Well, I looked online and sure enough there were other reports here and there of customers who were scammed. And you can't call MyVitanet.com, of course. If you call the sales number (the only chance of reaching a person) there's a warning that "sales representatives can only take new orders and cannot give you any information about existing orders." Now why would it say that? Because they don't send anything. I did read one or two online comments that people did get their orders, but really late. I suspect those people may be shills. Anyway that's hearsay--what isn't is that I personally never received anything.

I reported them to the Internet Crime Complaint Center in September--heard nothing yet.

Customer service emails aren't responded to, other links to "Check on my stuff" don't work.

Avoid MyVitanet.com.
