I went online to check about music downloads. Napsters website said " download songs for 0.99 cent each. After I entered my personal info, including my debit card number, another box popped up stating there was a monthly fee. I immediately hit the decline button at the bottom of the page. Right away I was tranfered off the order page and could not find a way to re enter. Also there was no contact phone number in which to verify my decline. Two and a half months later my bank statement shows a $60.00 auto withdrawl. My bank gave me their phone number. The pakistani I talked (or tried to talk to ) said all she could do was close the account and then hung up on me. When I had my bank call them (in my presence) we were told that all they could do was refund 3/4 of my $60.00.... even though I never used the Napster downloads.
I find their practices and their phone staff to be quite deceptive in nature and encourage people to find other sites in which to do business.
