National Fire & Safety Inspection Rip Off Inspection. Claim to be there per your lease contract San Clemente, California
Individual showed up at my warehouse and walked right to the fire sprinkler controls. When aslked what was his business, he claimed he was there to inspect the fire alarm system per the lease agreement. I do have a service which the owner pays for and they do inspect the system every six months.
When he was done he asked for my initials and signature on an inspection form. He claimed all was in working order and he left. The next day the real fire inspection company came and did the inspection. 25 days later i got this invoice for a "flat rate fee" of $195.00.
I never contacted them for any inspection and since i was due for the bi-annual inspection, I assumed it was the regular company doing it. What a scam... I DO NOT INTEND ON PAYING THIS BILL... I will be contacting the city of Ontario code inforcement to see what i can do.. Any ideas????
