National Fire & Safety FRAUD !!! They come into businesses saying they are just there to check and then sends you a bill Los Angeles, California
A man came to my store and said to my employee he was here to inspect the sprinkler system. My employee refused since it would be the landowner's responsibility, but the inspector insisted on just doing a checkup and there is no fee. My employee let him in, he looked at one of my overhead sprinklers and said sign here to state that the inspection was done. He left, and I received a bill for a "flat rate service" for $295. My employee repeatedly told him that we didn't want it if there is a fee, but the inspector said there is no charge an is only checking them out.
