North Atlantic Grand Casino Sweepstakes, Kevin Bishop, Sandra Allen North Atlantic Grand Casino Sweepstakes thinks I should send them $3950.00 for bogus taxes on bogus winnings. Beaverton, Oregon
I received a letter in the mail stating that my name was attached to the winning lottery numbers drawn June 25th, 2009 in the 2nd category of the 2009 North American Sweepstakes Lottery. The ticket serial number listed is FC/A-034776582446 with the winning numbers 3-9-12-26-38-44-45. My claim number is T A-222. The letter is dated Aug. 13, 2009.
The letter states that I was selected from a random computer ballot system and my name was drawn from over 500,000 names. The total amount won was $1,250 million divided between 10 winners, so my share is $125,000.00 (so they say). $1,250 million?????? Maybe it's a typo! ;D
The letter states that I am to receive $125,000.00, of which I will need to pay $3950.00 by moneygram or western union for taxes to a Rebecca Sampson at 285 Wilmore St in Northbay Canada, M2E 4R5. The claim agent for me to call is Kevin Bishop and Sandra Allen is listed as the promotion manager.
I am amused that they wrote my name on the check, but only addressed me as Sir/Madam in the letter. You'd think they would be smart enough to personalize the letter!
