North Shore Agency, North Shore Agency, Inc. schemes and threatens people to pay for stuff they did not buy. Westbury New York
Eugene Sullivan, collection manager of Norths Shore Agency Inc. (NSA) has written me twice concerning the small matter of $24.90. On September 2, 2008 NSA states I ordered the American Journal of Nursing (AJN) magazine and did not respond to AJN's previous letters therefore AJN placed this account with NSA. I was given the opportunity to pay $24.90 to reinstate my subscription to AJN. On October 8, 2008 I wrote to Eugene at NSA and stated how surprised I was to get this "collection letter" concerning a subscription to AJN. I was surprised because I NEVER ordered the magazine at any time in my 30 plus year nursing career.
On October 20, 2008 Eugene wrote again on RED stationary that this has not been resolved. What is there to resolve??? I did not order the magazine at any time since 1976 and do not plan on subscribing in the future. Attempts to reach NSA via phone are impossible since humans do not answer. Voice mail gives you many prompts to pay and 1 prompt to say you did not order a magazine subscription. Because AJN is so expensive I have never ordered it. Of course I am concerned about possible danmage to my credit by NSA. But I also am concerned that NSA is threatening unsuspecting people and bullying them into paying small amounts and lining their pockets. They should be ashamed and embarresed by such tactics.
