Don't waste your time... DON'T waste your money.
Still not convinced, look at your local Spokesman Review newspaper want ads. There you will find a half dozen or so want ads posted by Northwest Employment Listing. 509-484-0100! Is the number to look for., Call the number and simply ask for details on the job posted. Guess what,,! They have no details BECAUSE there is NO JOB. Its just a way to get you to call to and hear their sales pitch.
Give us $185 bucks!, Oh sorry, those jobs listed in the newspaper mysteriously are ALL FILLED! I'm not sure what is more disheartening, the fact that this SCAM is feeding on folks that are unemployed, or the fact that the Spokesman Review newspaper has been facilitating its operation for years. Just turning an easy buck on the hardworking subscribers.
Hey, lets let the Spokesman Review know we don't appreciate being RIPPED OFF!

The reason the newspaper prints job advertisments they know to be false or misleading is BECAUSE NORTHWEST EMPLOYMENT PAYS OVER $100k yearly in The Tacoma News Tribune alone, not to mention The Spokesmen Review and the other 17+ offices they own country wide and the newspapers they run ads in as well... This is a nation wide scam people!!
The only reason it is alowed to continue is that the shear amount of money shoved down the advertisers throats!
CAREERBUILDER . COM is the one making the BIG BUCKS on these ads though, they cost anywherre from $75 to $150 per ad that runs online and Northwest Employment pays to be placed at the top of the placements (in newspaper and in print) The real only true way to prove that I am telling the truth is to test my knowledge of the business... I helped write thier sales book for them along time ago, unfortunatly, the current owners have manipulated the jobless and less fortunate FOR TOO LONG, and i feel it is my duty to set the record straight.
- When you say you dont have the cash upfront, they say.. " is there anyone one else willing to lend you the cash for right now, until you start working"...
** YOU WILL END UP LOOKING THROUGH A FALSE DATA BASE OF LOCAL COMPANIES HIRING THROUGH MANY OTHER AVENUES.. but you will be guaranteed the jobs are for clients only
- When you say can you guarantee me a job?..they answer.." can you guarantee me an interview?"
** MEANING YOU DO ALLTHE WORK AND THEY CANT GUARANTEE ONE THING..
Do research before you pay for something you will end up doing yourself, save your $200 and buy a phone book and call employers...THATS EXACTLY WHAT THEY DO

Northwest Employment is a licensed permanent employment service celebrating 16 years serving Washington. We pride ourselves on providing a valuable service to area job seekers and companies. These tough economic times are difficult for all of us. We were fortunate to operate mainly during a thriving economy. As the Customer service manager for Northwest Employment I would welcome the chance to speak to anyone who has questions or comments. I have been with this company for fifteen years and have seen thousands of job seekers get back to work and thousands of employers find good qualified applicants. Unfortunately when someone is posting blindly and can keep anonymity they can also make outlandish and fraudulent claims. Over the past several days there have been several posts under various names from someone we believe to be a former employee who is disgruntled. The allegations and claims made on the previous posts can neither be substantiated nor confirmed because they are false. The concept of charging a fee for a service is not unique to our business. Many businesses charge an up front fee for a service and results vary based on how effectively the service is used. Health clubs and weight loss centers are two examples of services which individuals can do on their own, but choose to seek assistance. Northwest Employment is effective if used properly. We give each client a money back guarantee of accuracy and availability, so it is difficult to understand how claims of false leads and false advertising can be made. Our office has been in Tacoma for over 16 years, much of that time was when unemployment rates were under 4%. The suggestion that we are taking advantage of the unemployed is absurd. Northwest Employment adheres to all state laws and guidelines as well as internal protocol as defined in all legitimate ethical business practices.
