Oakwood Acceptance - Oakwood Homes ripoff I bought my Oakwood home in Meridian ,Mississipi in 2001 and it was delivered 6 months later to my property in Blue Ridge,Ga. Greensboro Internet
I bought an Oakwood Home in 2001 in Meridian,Mississippi which is now defunked.
The home was finally delivered 6 months later to a 1 acre piece of land purchased as a land home deal in Blue Ridge,Ga.
Another 3 acres next to my one acre was bought and cleared at the same time and they also bought an Oakwood double wide.
Oakwood employees delivered my home and had a plot to show them where to put the home. I was still in Mississippi when it was delivered because I had to continue working and Oakwood kept saying it would be delivered on such and such date and each time it was not delivered.
In 2003 the other home on the 3 acres was repoed by Oakwood because the people never moved in. I then attempted to buy the 3 acres from Oakwood and decided to hire a surveyer to remark my 1 acre ( This was last week,April 1,2004)
To my surprise and horror my home is sitting on part of the 3 acres owned by someone else. In other words Oakwood put my home where the other home should be and vice versa.
Please Help, I am at a loss on what I should do now.
