Verizon And OAN Services Rip Off Charges Long Beach California
I got my phone bill last month and for the first time realized I was being billed for voicemail from OAN Services. I called Verizon and they said they could not remove the charges. I then called OAN they gave me a confermaiton number and said they would credit our account for the past 4 months. I got a new bill today stating that OAN credited my Verizon account 46.08 but there was a new charge for 15.39. I called OAN and talked to someone who I couldn't understand, took me 20 min of yelling to get a supervisor. He asked me what my name was, I told him, he then asked me if I knew of anyone with a such an such name I told him no.
I guess this other person reorderd the voicemail services but enterd in my phone number. They do not check and make sure that the name of the person who is ordering services matches the name on the Verizon account. People search the web and click the ok button an enter in any phone number an that sends a ok to the OAN comapany to charge your bill. Something needs to be done. Stop this comapany from charging your phone get confermation numbers and call the BBB. Read your phone bill every month.
