Oasis moving picked up our belongings on August 1st. The estimate they gave us on the pickup date was over one thousand dollars more than the original estimate. The company made no move to notify us about how much our inventory weighed or what the final cost would be after they had our belongings. I had to call repeatedly to get information on our belongings.

They were over 6 days past the 14 business day deadline to deliver our stuff, and then would not honor the written notice given by one of their employees to discount our final price the 6 days they were late. Repeated calles to the company went unanswered. If someone did answer, they promised a call back from a manager, which never happened. They could not tell us where our stuff was, why it was late, and when it might arrive.

When we pushed them on the issues, they stated their 14 day delivery time was just an estimate and it could take an additional 30 days to locate and deliver our stuff. They were supremely rude each time we called to ask about our posessions.

Once they did arrive, which took a call to their business office by our Chief of Police, they refused to honor their agreement to subtract from the total and would not release our stuff.

They threaten to leave with our belongings unless we paid the full price. We called the police, who had to come to our house and again talked with the owner who was a complete a*s and stated he did not care what his employee promised, he would not honor the email we had. The owner even said to my husband "quit being an a*****e" when he was simply asking them to honor their agreement with us. Finally, after 2 hours of us saying we would park in the moving van and not let the driver pull away, they finally agreed to the discounted price.

However, when our stuff was unloaded and unwrapped, every single piece of furniture/appliances were severely damaged. So, we waited a total of 5 weeks for our furniture, and most of it is unusable. We are now trying to work with their insurance, who are also refusing to call us back, to try to get stuff replaced.

Oasis Moving sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a report on here about them as well. I filed complaints with DOT, BBB of Southern Nevada, and the Federal Transportation Agency. They are horrible. And the money you get for your damaged possesions isn't crap. Last time I checked they pay .57 cents per pound damaged. I had quite a few things damaged as well, and I hear their insurance company is worse than they are. I feel sorry for you, but look at it like I do, next time you know to either have a yard sale and get rid of the old stuff, or move it yourself in a POD or UHaul
