Ocean Point Resort Hotel From Hell Pompano Beach Florida
This hotel was supposed to be an upgrade from the Ft. Lauderdale portion of the now famous Ramada Plaza,Bahama Cruise, Orlando package. This hotel is extremely rundown. Carpets are dirty, dirt and dust on everything including the coffee maker, which was not cleaned or rinsed from the previous guests use.
People would pop into your room at anytime(employees) with excuses such as,bringing a patio chair, or checking to see if anyone here.(DUH) Pool had 3-4 inches of sand on bottom. Flying insects in lobby, and wooly worms everywhere on ground level entry area. Woke up at 4AM with water 3-4 inches deep, due to pipe break on 7th floor. I realize a broken pipe cannot be predicted, but, no compensation was offered, and was refused, when asked for, due to the fact that we now had no water, no elevater, no food service, and worst of all, no bathrooms .
Most important of all things is the fact that this place is so filthy, deep ground in dirt. This must be the "Hotel California" the Eagles sang about.
