Omnipresent Inc Magazine Scam Artists Tampa Florida
Have you ever gotten a call letting you know you've been entered into a drawing to win $1 million just because you own a valid MasterCard or Visa credit card?
Well, it happened to me. They told me all about how I was entered into the big drawing and a number of their monthly drawings and whatever. We got to talking and it all sounded pretty good, actually.
Come to find out, it was Omnipresent, Inc. that had all of this. They went on to offer me a magazine deal which seemed pretty good actually. Some 8 different subscriptions for a bundle price. Not a bad deal actually. So I took it. Biggest mistake I ever made in my life.
First off, it took about 6 months for the first magazines to even arrive. That was frustrating enough as it is. In addition, after looking at the same subscriptions elsewhere, come to find out it would have been cheaper just to order each one individually and pay each company. I guess everything has mark-up when you go through "the middle man" doesn't it?
Here's the moral of the story: if someone tells you that you've been entered to win $1 million just because you own a credit card...forget it. Hang up the phone and run the other way. They called me back recently telling me I could use them as a credit reference at any time...like I need that with my outstanding credit score anyway. They tried to get me to renew but I weaseled my way out of it and told them I couldn't afford it. Oh well, they offered me a "free" subscription to a magazine of my choice for handling my account well, and quite frankly, I probably won't get that either, at least it wouldn't surprise me if I didn't.
Hang onto your money, be careful, and don't buy anything from these scam artists.
