First send a cease and desist letter to them telling them to stop all communication other than my mail. Second send a validation of debt letter stating that you are disputing the amount they claim you owe (the $200 on top of the $260.) Remember to send both of these certified/return receipt at the post office. (That way they can't claim they never got it.) They sent me back a validation letter stating the original amount loaned to me, minus the payments I already made. Instead of the $320 the lady on the phone told me I needed to pay ASAP, I actually owed a much much lesser amount,$40 I think, which was correct to me. Do not let the fast phone talkers try to pull one over on you. Good luck. P.S You can find examples of debt validation and cease and desist letters on a basic google search.
