What takes the cheese is all the "Simple Never Had a bad deal in there life" people, and how they try to force their beautiful good luck and fortune on someone. Look "Good Techs", if you have a good time with Onforce, great!!! But do not take someones bad experience and force them to feel bad about voicing their concerns. If you are so freaking good and happy with Onforce, GREAT for you. And if you are so qualified, get hired for the real company!! and be a middle manager, unless your skills are left to be desired. To some people, Onforce is a curse. To you, well, maybe it is just not your time yet. Keep living you nay-sayers, you too will get your opportunity.

To the rebuttal: Not every OnForce tech is an idiot. There are some well qualified techs onsite. I happen to use OnForce as a second income and know of others who do the same.

I have worked for OnForce for 18 months, I have completed over 35 contract jobs for them, and I have a perfect 6.0 provider rating. I have only had issues with one buyer in my entire time with OnForce. I have made profit on every ticket (sorry, if $75 is your minimum, good luck finding work in the recession as there are a LOT of techs who will work for less), and have a good working relationship with all of the buyers who have contracted me. It is important to note that OnForce tickets are routed to providers from buyers -- OnForce does NOT contract these providers, it is up to the buyer and the provider to set terms. Providers have the option of making an offer on every ticket, and the terms of the ticket are clearly spelled out. OnForce is an excellent company that has provided me with a lucrative second income, and if you are not making money working for them it is because you do not know how to bid your services -- NOT because of any deficiency on the part of OnForce.

If you are not making money why do you state that you are "still" using OnForce? Let me guess, you are actually making money, not that big of a leap to see that's the truth. What I recommend is that you learn how to use the OnForce platform. You can take any job you want in any area you want for any amount of money you choose. So I guess I am not sure what the problem is here. I use OnForce, make money, drive only to jobs close to my office. I guess instead of the time spent with the extracurricular broomstick activities I learned to use the platform correctly. But the broom down and learn the platform, it actually is a great opportunity. Also less splinters.

Thanks for the input. Doubtless with my 13 years experience and happy customers I could have done it right for you, which means you substantiate my point: That OnForce is the perfect mechanism for lowering the bar. Instead of finding a local quality consultant, you found an idiot that took work away from someone like me. You would have had to pay me twice as much, but you wouldn't have had any headache like you did with that guy. It's very like a union. The guy with the IQ of an appliance bulb can get just as much work as a Ph. D. in Computer Science. Are ya happy now?

i used onforce to get a tech on site to do a fairly easy job that would take about an hour for a good tech. I said I would pay for two hours, in case there was unforeseen trouble, and to cover reasonable travel and make it worthwhile for the tech. $60 was my flat rate. I called the tech 5 minutes before the scheduled time for him to be on site and he seemed surprised he forgot about the job. He showed nearly an hour late while my client waited patiently. His work was done slowly and poorly. Less than two hours into the work with me ok the phone the whole time talking him through every bit of minutia, he asked for more money! I don't trust many techs appreciate the value of showing up on time, so the good thing about onforce is that I don't have to route work to this tech again. I have no idea how a tech would not get paid, but I certainly understand a need to dock pay based on tardiness or incoplete work. I found out after this guy left that he did not follow my specs.
