The company advertized unlimited online file storage for $25 annually. Nowadays, it is general knowledge that "file storage" means file-transfer of private information to and from their servers, and that both the service and the uploaded data are available without interruption.

After very little research, I signed up and prepaid for 2 years. The company offered a 30-day money-back guarantee. However, I used the service very little during the first month (I was occupied with unrelated things), and when I did - it worked fine.

Shortly after 30 days after the sign-up date, I started using it every day (I automated backups). I planned on transferring a lot of data. I automated data transfers, and I was able to examine activity logs. Soon enough, I started experiencing difficulties connecting (I couldn't connect to their server for hours). Other times, I started noticing how files that I saw uploaded at earlier times were simply gone (not on their servers). I felt cheated: the service was unreliable and they don't take care of my files. Based on that, I couldn't trust that I will still have a copy valuable electronic data in case I lose it at home (fire, theft, etc).

I initiated contact with the company over email: I asked for refund (even though 30-day warranty passed). Over several emails spawning close to a month of time, they ignored my request for refund, and instead they started asking for my reasons. I explained, and I kept insisting on refund. Finally, they promissed to send me a refund check. I never received it. A week or two after that promise, I emailed them and asked for the status. At that time, somebody else picked up the case, and the process above described pretty much repeated (they questioned why I was complaining, and that took several weeks again). Finally, I received the same promise for the refund check. It again never arrived.

After that, I emailed them every week or two, and my emails now are getting ignored.

I was a customer since 2012.  I loved the service.  But then, in 2014, I couldn't get in to any of my accounts.  I read posts from other people who couldn't get into their accounts either. 

The online storage solution as refused to give me access to my accounts that were paid for and thus I have lost my files.  I had been a customer of theirs since 2012 and they did this to me without notifing me in 2014.  I have tried to contact them but no response.  I want to form a case and get our files back.  Anyone with similar problems please email me at (((redacted)))

This is to express a change of an opinion. I used to be angry with OSS, and so above I posted statements that were actually not true. OSS resolved problems that I complained about, and the service has since been outstanding. I would like to publicly apologize to OSS for my actions. I have requested from the site owner to remove my posts, and I'm hoping that they will. I would recommend OSS to anyone.
