Just recently I have had my 2nd refused rebate for a TigerDirect Purchase. I purchased RAM memory at TigerDirect and was supposed to get a rebate, however I got a Status Email from OnRebate.com saying the rebate had been denied. As a reason they cited that the name and address on the rebate did not correspond to the one on the receipt. I called Onrebate directly to explain that I just moved so the rebate request reflected my new address, the rep just said if the addresses dont match then they cant process the rebate and hung up. This is the second time I have had trouble with OnRebate. I thought the first time was a fluke, but now I see there is a pattern emerging. I have already filed a report with the FTC for false and misleading advertising, however anyone applying for a TigerDirect Rebate, please be aware that Onrebate and Tigerdirect seem to be linked (main business address is in same strip mall in Florida); and that OnRebate seems to look for reasons not to pay rebates.
