I placed an order for an Olympus camera and was surprised to get a call the next day asking if I wanted extra items with my camera. It was news to me that these cameras shipped without a memory card and a battery. I was suspicious that this was a ploy to represent a really low camera cost and bundle in the battery and card later, making the price about what I could get somewhere else. Still not sure about that. I did tack on a card reader and my total order price was raised from the original price but it was not a scam, they did call and get my approval. I did not get an email as promised with an invoice and a tracking number, but a phone call got me that, and the camera did arrive as promised. At this point however I can't remember the original price on the web page to see if my final price was a match. I think I could have gotten the camera and all of these parts cheaper at NewEgg. I did get a nice color that was not available at NewEgg. Net net, this was not a total ripoff scam, but I do think there may have been something a little shady here.
