This company is great at promotion... sending unsolicited email and offering great products at a fixed shipping rate of less than $3. I purchased a Phantom Fury vacuum... it came with a handle which obviously was to a totally different make, model and color of vacuum. (How could they even send that out.) I sent it back and never got a refund.
They told me since I paid by PAYPAL, that they couldn't refund my money and I'd have to use their "in-store credit." That money is supposed to show up when I log on to the site. It doesn't and Overstock.com will not answer my emails to address it. I feel very scammed and ripped off by thieves. IN the same order, I purchased a little floor vacuum... only $25. so when I got it used... I mean, filthy dirty, inside filled with hair and dirt... I just cleaned it out and kept it, deciding not to buy from them again. I had not even received the Fantom Fury vacuum yet at that point, to know just how ripped off I was.
Prior to that, I ordered a Bell Atlantic phone and paid by credit card. Before I realized the reason it didn't work- (as opposed to the problem being my phone jack) the short time limitation to return it expired and I was out of 40 bucks. They got me.
