Owt Of Control Entertainment, Robert Moyler DJ Service does not honor contract, stole deposit! Lexington Kentucky
I met with the owner of "Owt of Control Entertainment", Robert Moyler, a few weeks before my wedding to hire him as a DJ. It was short notice as my other DJ vanished and I was hard put to find someone else.
He emailed me his contract, which I filled out, emailed back to him, and we made plans to meet in person. The first time he was a no-show. After several phone calls he explained something had come up, but he definately still wanted to meet with me. I regretfully made plans to meet him again, and when he showed up he didn't even have a copy of the contract, which luckily I had printed 2 copies of for us to sign.
I should have listened to my gut feeling and walked away then, but I was desperate with the wedding coming up so soon, so I gave him my deposit check. The very next day I emailed and called him to cancel, which according to his contract meant I would get my deposit back in full. After several more attemps to contact him I finally get an email saying he was in Las Vegas and would honor his contract when he returned.
He never honored his contract, and I never heard from him again. He stole my deposit and vanished. He is a liar, theif, and very unprofessional. Avoid him at all costs!
