Pacific West Marketing Fundraising of the Future, Ed Schriber Takes the Money and Runs San Juan Capistrano, California
I too fell victim to Ed Schriber, aka Pacific West Marketing's scam. He found me on Rephunter.net, where I was looking for actual independent reps to market my product. Ed promptly called me, told me wonderful and exciting things about his company, his connections, his experience, blah blah blah, but the only way to get him to move was to send him $2450 fee. I called his references(3 of them), and they all gave positive feedback on him. I suspect they were fake also. Long and the short of it is this: I sent Ed a few hundred samples of my product(which cost me about an additional thousand dollars including freight) for various trade shows, and a year and a half later I have only managed to get about a thousand dollars in orders....BUT he still had the gall to ask for a 15% commission on these orders. $3500 investment for an $800 payback...do the math.
Save your money and dont "invest" it on Pacific West Marketing or Ed Schriber. He talks a great game but in the end is using your $2500 to keep the business afloat. He has hundreds of products on his website and I notice every month he keeps getting more products, so he cant possibly represent yours and mine with much emphasis on it. After I gave him some grief on the phone on why I wasn't getting any orders, he gave me the usual round of excuses but then goes off on a tangent about how I need to go after the European market. I told him "Ed, I have yet to even put a dent in the N American market, so why would I want to spend time and money on selling products 5000 miles away".
Mine is the 4th and most recent complaint filed here and I can tell you with 100% truthfulness that my story is real and I am a real person who fell for his pitch. Don't do it.
