First off I've been a client at Pacinos Barbershop for almost 10 years. I religiously get a hair cut once every two weeks and have always felt comfortable every time I've been there. As far as the owner is concerned, he's a very polite guy. I barely see him at the shop and from what the employees told me, he's always traveling working with artists in the industry.
He hasn't cut hair in the shop for years, so this report about him cutting a client makes no sense. I've interacted with the owner on several occasions and he has never spoke like that to anyone in the barber shop. Especially when a female (mother) comes in with her son, he has made sure they have a seat and greets them politely.
I was googling his name to find out videos of him traveling with celebrities and came across this report, which should definitely be taken down. In a way, I feel offended because not only do I get my haircut there, I also took my son to get his first haircut there. I honestly feel this report was made by an angry ex employee or just someone who has it in for the owner.
Its sad that someone would take the time out of their day to make up these ridiculous lies. If anyone would like to see his real story, check out his website www.Pacinosthebarber.com. This was the site I was looking for initially.
Cordially,
Lorenzo

So, as a "consumer", you're defending this barber shop owner with calling people "n***a"? I can't even imagine an owner doing that. That is by far the most unprofessional thing I've ever heard. I, for one, am a n*g myself. If I would've been there to hear that little pipsqeak say "n****r" or "n***a", in whichever way he meant it, I would've broken both of his arms. How this guy has a business after 12 years baffles me.

Not me because whoever is in charge actually had the courage to put it up, you're still an a** to talk about someone & make lies about someone you know nothing about, so deal with it! Because you know d**n well you made up that whole story!

Obviously the person that wrote that story had nothing better to do but to fabricate a bunch of crap that never really happened! I can confirm that Eric "Pacinos" Roa does not operate business like that in the way this individual described for the fact that at one point I worked with the man & I've seen how he conducts his business, futher more I've seen his barbershop! Now probably the only thing that he was accurate in is the "N" bomb being used but not as often as he made it to look, but coming from him he wouldn't know anything about the way of the word on the street or how it's used for what it means, that's just the way street people talk in general! It's not meant to be disrespectful to the other individual when they say that, it's just another way of saying "my boy" or "my buddy". But when you get ignorant individuals like this guy who doesn't understand the language or the meaning, the first thing they want to do is label you & just assume you're just another dumb guy on the street trying to make a buck!
Now I would suggest to this man that if you want to make up stories, write fairy tale books you will make more money that way! Don't go hating on a man that has worked hard for his business & kept in running for 12 years just because you're not as successful, that just makes you look like an a*s! I've worked with him & I can honestly say he's successful because he's worked hard at it, he wasn't given anything! So if you ensist on trying to down people like him be my guest but it's only going to back fire because I can assure you this will only make him that much popular in the business of barbering, so shut the hole under your nose & keep it moving! Go do something contructive with your life like give back to your communitty instead of walking around like someone shoved an umbrella up your a*s & opened it!

Although I think the author did get a little cute with this story, I think it's a very accurate story of what goes on in that shop. I got my hair cut in that shop and experienced an eerily familiar situation. Everyone in the shop talked ghetto-slang, from the customers to the employees to the owner. The owner seemed to be the worst one! I believe his name is Erich. Rumors are that he runs an underground drug business in that shop, which seemed believable based on the clientele there. I even saw a customer wearing a tank-top, with his basketball shorts hanging so low they were basically around his knees, with a set of brass knuckles in his pocket. He kept pulling it out and showing the guy next to him. Had I not desperately needed a hair cut for an interview I had within the next 3 hours, I would've turned around and walked out. What made me mad was Erich, the owner, received a tip of $10 from someone, and when that customer left the shop Erich started immediately bashing him. "That n***a only gave me 10 bucks!", he screamed so the entire shop could hear him. What confused me was that the client was WHITE and he was calling him that nasty word. I'm really glad someone wrote a ripoff report on this place because, bottom line, it's ghetto!
