I used to Bank with Associated Bank and I was going to close that account in a couple of months. I had left $300.00 in the bank to clear the 3 checks that I had written out. When those checks cleared. I closed my account. I know I did bounce 1 check and I paid my money order to palisades credit and that is also on my credit report. Why would they file these items there were all paid in 2001 and all of a sudden put this in my credit report now in March, 2008! I know I had only bounced 1 check and I had sent palisades a certified money order in 2001, which they had recieved. Also I talked to Associated Bank and all of those were cleared. I said to the bank then why do I have these on my credit report and they said those checks should not be on there and I would have to bring it up with Palisades Credit. I called Palisades and they told me to call JNR Collection Agency and they didi not know what I was talking about and to call back Palisaeds. If there was a problem I would have taken care of that back in 2001, Why now 7 years later would palisades bring up checks that were taken care of and paid already by myself. Like I said before I already talked the bank and they do not know how Palisades ended up with this. I want this off my report especially when they wait 7 years later. I did get all my other 3 credit reports just the other day, no mention what so ever of any outstanding checks. Palisades to me is money hugary and wants to ruin peoples lives. I am not giving them any more money especially when already paid them and then they wait 7 years later to put this on my credit report. Thank You.
