Public Notice : Beware of these backyard Euro greeders ! The canine genetic , uneducated public needs to be aware that Palmetto House Dobermanns is inbreeding lines that are dying of DCM ! They have the B litter right now that is a double Fedor Del Nasi cross and his dam died of DCM at 4 yrs old ! Not only are they doing " bad breedings " they are also breeding a blue dog with alpecia which is highly inherited. Scott and Sue McDonald have poor quality Dobermans being overbred for the almighty dollar ! Steer clear of these rip offs or be sorry later on.

I will try to address these in order, we are not inbreeding, it is called line breeding look at the definitions.
Unfortunately DCM is in all lines! Fedor lived to be 9 years old and to the best of my knowledge his cause of death has not been publicly stated. He won the IDC in 2005 and is widely considered on of the best producers of all time!
We do have a Blue Female that we might breed at some time, however Freddy does not carry the dilution gene so no puppies will be Blue or Fawn.
We do not have poor quality dogs, all of our dogs have excellent pedigrees!
We do not over breed, this is our 2nd litter in 2 years, the first litter was 2 puppies and we kept them both. We repeated the breeding because of the male from the first litters ability to work. He is in protection training and is called a warrior by his trainers. B-Litter has been evaluated by our trainers and has 5 working prospects.
We health test all of our dogs whether we intend to breed them or not!
We work our own dogs!
Statement: It would be nice if this site made the people making these complaints be honest about who they are! It is very easy for other Breeders or Dobermantalk people to come on here and just simply lie!
We are very proud of our dogs and the puppies we produce!
